About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Architect to join our Gurgaon office. This is a hands-on design and documentation role where you will contribute directly to one of the most architecturally ambitious cultural projects in SAPL’s current portfolio. You will work closely with senior architects and consultants, translating design intent into detailed drawings, coordinating across disciplines, and supporting site execution during key construction phases.

Key Responsibilites

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, sections, elevations, and working details in AutoCAD and Revit under the direction of the Senior Project Architect
  • Assist in developing design documentation across all project stages – concept, schematic, design development, and construction drawings
  • Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and specialist consultants to ensure design integration
  • Prepare presentation drawings, 3D visualisations, and physical or digital models for client and stakeholder reviews
  • Conduct site visits and inspections; prepare site observation reports and document progress against drawings
  • Maintain drawing registers, ensure version control, and manage document issue protocols
  • Support the team in design research, material sourcing, and vendor coordination specific to museum fitouts and exhibition infrastructure
  • Participate in design reviews, and project coordination meetings

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognised institution – Council of Architecture registered
  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in an architecture firm post-graduation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); working knowledge of Revit or equivalent BIM software
  • Working knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, or similar 3D modelling tools
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator – for presentation preparation
  • Sound understanding of construction materials, detailing, and building systems relevant to public/civic buildings
  • Strong graphic communication skills – drawings, diagrams, presentation layouts
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work within a collaborative studio environment

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Prior exposure to civic, cultural, museum, or institutional project typologies
  • Familiarity with CPWD/PWD norms, NBC 2016, and accessibility guidelines for public buildings
  • Experience with coordination using BIM 360 or similar project management platforms
  • Interest in sustainable design, passive strategies, and green building certifications (GRIHA/LEED)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and consultant correspondence
