The Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, located in Teen Murti Estate, New Delhi, is dedicated to all Indian Prime Ministers from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to Shri Narendra Modi. Spanning 15,600 square metres with 43 distinctive galleries, Sustainable Alternatives Private Limited (SAPL) served as Project Management Consultants and detailed design partners to MUSE, UK, executing the comprehensive exhibition fit-out. Our innovative design strategy transformed conceptual ideas into immersive visitor experiences through cutting-edge technologies including holographic displays, virtual reality installations, augmented reality experiences, multi-touch interactive screens, responsive kiosks, and sophisticated kinetic sculptures.
Our comprehensive project management framework positioned SAPL as the central coordination hub between clients and all project stakeholders, including specialized vendors and government agencies. Through strategic timeline management and resource allocation, we successfully delivered this complex project on schedule and within scope. The design prioritizes universal accessibility with barrier-free movement, intuitive signage, and comprehensive audio-visual aids. Through meticulous attention to lighting design, material palette, and acoustic treatments, the museology and contemporary design work harmoniously to create an engaging, educational, and memorable experience that appropriately honours India’s democratic heritage.
